IDENTITY.

Was stressing, time consuming, & last but not least, fun. Making the lyrics was probably the most challenging for me, but making the video was fun. The past semester was filled with a lot of stressing, confusing, and fun things. When Identity first started, at first I didn’t know what to do. I wanted to do spoken word, but ended up rapping. I did a song with Jhacent, Paul, and Jessemar. I think it ended out pretty good. Identity I thought at first, was hard, stressing, and just another project. But towards the end of it, I realized that this was one of the most fun projects I have done in DSA.

Reflection: EA.

At Electronic Arts, we met a lot of people, seen a lot of things, and learned a lot of stuff. Some people we met were Julie Wynn, our main tour guide. She was very nice and showed us all what Electronic Arts is all about. Then there was [insert guys name that did presentation]. He had a slide ready for us and taught us all about how to make a game and the steps you have to go through. Though he seemed like he was rushing. When I thought he was going to explain all of the steps thoroughly, he told us to pick two of them and he would explain those two. Then there was [insert asian guys name]. He also was very nice, and explained how it was like to work at EA. He is a director at Visceral games and manages all the people who work there. He is currently working on a new game called Dantes Inferno. He seemed like he wasn’t prepared for, but he knew what he was talking about.

We seen a lot of things at EA. We seen all of the “Mission” Buildings. Buildings that were for lawyers, buildings that were for the workers, and even some buildings just to hang out. They also had an outside volleyball court with sand and everything! We also seen their indoor basketball gym. She seemed like she was in a rush, and wanted us to finish and leave early. We also learned a lot about the history about EA. We learned that EA started with just two people who broke out from the Apple company. We also learned about how a 8bit and a 16bit came would take two people to make and could take up to 16 hours to a day to make. It was really neat. We also learned about all of the benefits you get. If your an employee at EA! You get an indoor gym, which is upstairs and is huge! You also get the indoor basketball gym, the hangout spot, and also brand new games for 20$!

If I would rate the trip out of ten, i would give it a six. It wasn’t that great, because the host was very rude. She was on the phone the whole time. She also seemed like she was rushing. At one point, when some of our group got locked out upstairs, she said something in the lines of.. “those slowpokes have to hurry up I don’t have all day.” And we went on the field trip to learn about careers, but we really didn’t learn anything about careers at all. All she did was show us the buildings, and showed us the steps on making a game. So I liked the field trip, but it could have been much better with a nice and non-rushing host.

Herro, It’s cold.

Ms Pauls Homework:

I am going to tell you this story this sage told me before. He was a very wise man so I knew his stories would be interesting. He placed his cup next to mine, making it juxtapose to mine. Then he started.. Once upon a time there was was this benevolent young girl he knew. She was kind to everyone but when something happened to her, even the littlest things would happen, she would make it histrionic and be overly dramatic. She was amorous to everyone, and even gave people hugs she didn’t even know. This young girl also had two younger sisters. One of the sister was very  idyllic and didn’t really talk much. The other sister on the other hand, was very annoying. She would exasperate everyone she would meet. She was even discordant when she sang. She was also vacuous. Anyways, so one day this lovely girl woke up with a strange feeling, she felt like today was going to be a good day, but her sister came in and assailed her, “GET UP WE HAVE TO GO SOON!!”

Thats all I could think of
